The BADG arranges winter talks, summer farm walks and visits, donates to charity, and holds a social Harvest Supper each October.
Winter talks cover subjects including local farm business advancements, insights into different agri-sectors, regenerative agriculture, agricultural politics, we hear from farmers passionately telling us about what they're doing on farm, meat processors, agri-social media and the farming press, and more.
Summer walks have been hosted by dairy processers, local farmers, farm shops and retailers, Harper Adams University, diversified agri-businesses and more.
Charitable donations are made each year to local charities, using funds mainly raised by the Harvest Supper.
Rounding off our membership year, the BADG Harvest Supper is an event looked forward to and attended by people from the local rural community. We are fortunate that generous businesses sponsor the Harvest Supper, making it a special and memorable annual event.
