The Blymhill Agricultural Discussion Group (BADG) was co-founded by the late David Maddocks and farming friends in 1951. Now over 100 members of the local farming community make up the BADG and David's two sons Philip and Richard are an active part of the committee.
Throughout the year we arrange farm walks, talks, and visits. Speakers cover different agricultural and rural topics during our winter meetings held from November to March. Three farm walks are held from May to July, with farmers and growers, dairy processers, meat processers, gin makers and more, opening their gates to teach us about what they do and to offer inspiration.
